Refund policy
Filtration Group- Finishing has a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days from the date of the invoice to request a return.
Merchandise eligible for return will be subject to the following terms and conditions:
- Authorization to return products must be requested within 30 calendar days from the date of the invoice.
- When requesting a Returned Materials Authorization (RMA), it is at the discretion of FG-F to determine if the product is returnable.
- When requesting an RMA, Invoice number and order date must be supplied.
- Return shipment must be accompanied by an approved RMA Number.
- Product authorized for return must be shipped to FG-F within 10 business days of authorization.
- All items must be in original packaging for re-sale.
- All returned products are subject to a 25% re-stocking fee plus freight. Freight is to be paid by customer.
- Discontinued products / Custom products / Special cuts cannot be returned at any time unless they are a result of factory error.
- On returns where merchandise was shipped at FG-F cost, an additional 10% fee will be applied to restocking charge.
If merchandise is being returned due to factory error, the following additional terms and conditions apply:
- Return shipments resulting from a factory error are to be returned using 3rd party billing.
- Shipments over 30 calendar days from date of shipment will not be eligible for return.
To start a return, you can contact us at (800)537-5454. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or clearance/warehouse clear-out products.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
